WHAT I WORE: Top: Zara| Jeans: ASOS| Shoes: Oasis| Bag: Shein | Earrings: Accessorize
My university professor said that he hated gingham because even one look at the pattern made him itchy. Well, it looks like that isn’t the case with the rest of the world because this checked pattern is overflowing the streets and shops. You can hardly click on an Instagram fashion feed or open a magazine without being faced with the little check. I’m one of the many who embraced this trend and bought a few pieces in this pattern. It reminds me of summer, picnics, and Brigitte Bardot and if that wasn’t enough reason to wear it then I don’t know what is. Also, gingham is easy to wear and versatile because it goes with everything and can be dressed up at night or down for the day. This top is just one of the things I have in gingham but it’s probably one of my favourites because it has ruffled sleeves – another obsession of mine.
My jeans are again from ASOS as I have an addiction for their Farleigh Slim Mom Jeans collection so I’ll probably end up buying more of them.
Also, it looks like I won’t be taking off these espadrilles anytime soon because they are so comfy and make any outfit a little more summery which is good if your summer is on average 20 degrees.
